Transition (2 to 3 years)
Transition classroom is where our children begin to leave behind their baby years. Their motor and perceptual skills, social skills, and most dramatically, their cognitive powers are catapulting them into new territory. Expectations for the child’s planned educational experiences increase as they proceed to Transition classroom. In this class, we train them to be ready for the Primary classroom by helping them get potty trained, move around the classroom independently, chose work appropriately, stay in circle time for a longer period without wandering, demonstrates self-help skills during lunch time, verbalizes wants and needs, finish the longer Montessori work period. Our transition curriculum is an extension of the toddler curriculum and focuses on Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language Arts, Visual Arts & Music.

Toddler Program (18 – 24 months)
Using tools and lessons from the Montessori Method, toddlers in our program will have a great head start in their education as they learn to move, think, and discover new information independently. Under the guidance of Lead and Assistant Guides, children gain self-confidence as they work independently at their own pace with carefully designed materials that encourage logical thought, creativity, and responsibility. Purposeful tasks, such as caring for plants or practicing buttoning and unbuttoning, allow children to master valuable skills while developing concentration. The environment abounds with opportunities to practice hand-eye coordination, appreciate music, and develop balance through artistic, musical, and kinesthetic activities. Each day, children experience the self-confidence of completing tasks independently as well as the joy of contributing to the well-being of the classroom community. Children are gently introduced to the rules of the community and find pleasure in being patient, respectful, and polite.

Infant Care (6 weeks to 18 months)
We categorize our infant curriculum and classes into young infant care (6 weeks to 12 months) and older infant care (12 months to 18 months). By delineating at these ages, we can focus on helping your infant mature at an appropriate developmental rate. We provide responsive care giving in a clean and sanitary environment to develop secure attachment relationships with caregiver to ensure that the infant feels safe, relaxed, loved, and supported within that relationship. Our teachers make sure to talk, sing, play and read to each child, play active games, encourage tummy time thus focusing on building muscle strength and gross motor skills, hone sensory perception in a nurturing and loving atmosphere.
In our older infant classroom, we begin to introduce Montessori curriculum while continuing to build on motor skills, cognitive brain development and speaking skills. Memory, language and thinking are reinforced through basic word development and we encourage them to transition from sitting and crawling to standing. The teacher slowly begins to emphasize independence, interpersonal relationships, manners and nurture curiosity about the natural world.
