Why RedRose?
We know you have a number of early childhood education choices for your child, and we think it’s important to find a program that makes the most of a child’s critical learning time from birth to age six. Montessori is a philosophy of teaching used all over the world, yet not all Montessori schools are created equally. A fully licensed and a nationally recognized Montessori school, we take great strides in keeping true to the Montessori vision while constantly evaluating our methods and curriculum to incorporate the latest methodologies. We see each child as a valued individual and incorporate their needs into every activity throughout the day.
Our Staff
A central part of our approach to education is the hiring of experienced Montessori guides and strong role models. We are very proud of our staff and faculty. Teachers at RedRose Montessori School are professional, committed and nurturing which creates a very inviting private school environment for all of our students. We encourage families to tour our school and meet our dedicated staff.
Our Facility
We are very proud of our facility and are extremely confident that all our children will find the warmth and love needed for them to grow as confident, successful citizens. Our facility has age-appropriate Playscapes that provide daily opportunities for play and social interaction.
Library
We have a growing library for students of all ages to enjoy and checkout every week. Our goal is to make our children successful, confident readers and focus on fluency and comprehension. Students in our classroom are active participants in the learning process and are intrinsically motivated to achieve higher levels of reading; they read because they want to, not because they have to.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
Whether they’re in preschool or aftercare, when your children attend RedRose Montessori School, they will be engaged throughout the day. From independent learning times where they have a say in how they learn, to outdoor kinesthetic activities that foster a love of nature, we create engrossing activities that will help develop your children’s cognitive abilities along with their social skills. We incorporate the arts throughout all of our lessons, and we encourage creative problem-solving skills with each activity, using finely crafted Montessori-based manipulatives. We help foster a critical thinking mindset by helping the children ask questions and obtain their own answers. At RedRose Montessori School, your child will be supported and will thrive.
